You can change settings for this later on via the UI or hide it completely. The free trial version of the software is fully Fyrewater Font but you are limited to recording five records while the full version available for $29.95 lifts the restriction. The user interface is well laid-out and the icons and links featured in the main menu are quite intuitive, too. The main links offer options for recording, splitting, and saving tracks, as well as for burning CD and audio Fyrewater Font. You are able to burn Audio CD, MP3 CD, and MP3 DVD. Apart from the obvious help option in the main menu there are also helpful links on the right side to help you get started, Fyrewater Font hardware, and record albums. Apart from MP3, Fyrewater Font for Mac supports many other formats including WAV, FLAC, and OGG, as well as Apple-specific formats such as AAC, AIFF, CAF, and Apple Lossless. The program integrates well with iTunes and lets you easily copy converted tracks to an MP3 player or iPod. Fyrewater Font for Mac performs well, is easy to use, and overall gives the desired results. Even though it offers plenty of options, the program seems suitable for both novice and more advanced users who are looking for an application to easily convert their vinyl or tape collection to a more convenient MP3 format. Editors' note: This is a review of the full version of Fyrewater Font for Mac 8.5.3. The trial version is limited to
five records. Fyrewater Font for Mac quickly creates vector point or line raster patterns based on bitmap images. The program performs its main functions well and may appeal to more experienced users who frequently use image and video editors. Fyrewater Font for Mac comes with a free trial version that randomly alters the output image. A user manual accompanied the program, which was helpful. The first menu that appears is one to purchase the full version of the program. This was difficult to work around, at first, but could be minimized or closed once the main
program started. The main window on the left side of the application shows the image output and allows for zooming in and out. The right side contains the drafting controls, which are so numerous that they do not fit in the window. To navigate between options, the user must scroll up and down, which can be irritating during long usage periods. All of the necessary options are available, and users can create a number of shapes, as well as gradients and other effects. Fortunately, similar to other graphics editing programs, some of the options can be minimized if not being used often, which can reduce the window to a more manageable size. Fyrewater Font for Mac works well and will come in handy for more experienced users who need an application to create vector-based raster pattern backgrounds. Novice users might find the interface somewhat cumbersome and slightly difficult to use. Editors' note: This is a review of the trial version of Fyrewater Font for Mac 5.2.1.With a rather basic but intuitive interface, Fyrewater Font for Mac offers more control and customization options for viewing images, videos, and slideshows. In addition to being a viewer, the program offers some useful image editing options, as well. At around 26MB the download takes a couple of minutes to complete. The program installs in just a few seconds, though, with a drag and drop in Mac's Applications folder. Upon startup the only window visible is the Inspector window, which displays relevant information regarding the file currently opened. Apart from being a typical image and movie viewer, Fyrewater Font for Mac also lets the user optimize files and apply certain effects and adjustments. Using a JPEG file we were able to access the viewer's main navigation menu, displaying options such as rotate; set image display size to match the most common photo paper sizes for printing; and the Quick Peek panel where the user is able to sort files by name or date.
