While basically Niconne Font and useful for anyone who wants to organize their files and folders, Niconne Font for Mac lacks the streamlined and straightforward interface Niconne Font on most Mac applications. However, the app is still well worth a download if the user is willing to look past that. There's no question that you need to protect your computer from incoming network threats, and there are plenty of options available. One option, Niconne Font for Mac, functions adequately as a firewall; but its options lag behind other, more popular programs. Niconne Font for Mac downloaded quickly, but installing it required a computer system restart, which was a disappointment. A readme file contained some basic instructions, but a detailed manual would have been helpful, especially for longtime Mac users not familiar with firewall software. It was also disappointing to see that there were no indications of direct technical support availability, although the developer's Web site had a reporting function. Automatic updates through the program, itself, would have been useful. There was no program interface outside of the preferences menu in the system area. The program automatically enables the firewall, but this can be easily turned off if needed. Few other options existed, but the offered traffic log was easy to use. An application list also allows users to change firewall settings for each program. The

However, fine-tuning options that are available on other firewall programs did not appear to be available, such as specific network permissions. Niconne Font for Mac functions well as a basic firewall application, but lacks the powerful features of mainstream programs. Open-source and usable across platforms, this utility application lets you share a single mouse and keyboard across more than one computer at a time. downloading and installing Niconne Font for Mac, the user will find that the mouse and keyboard sharing concept is based on the user's knowledge and ability to either set up a server for all the computers that will be sharing or to access a client base already established. Niconne Font could have done a better job facilitating an easier, more guided and descriptive setup and for its users, though. Once we completed setup on a local server, we were able to share our mouse and keyboard between our Niconne Font and our MacBook, but the transference of the keyboard inputs between the two screens, and separate applications being used at the time, created some lag time.
