The program performs its main functions well and may appeal to more experienced users who frequently use image and video editors. Toshiba Tecra A4 Sound Driver for Mac comes with a free trial version that randomly alters the output image. A user manual accompanied the program, which was helpful. The first menu that appears is one to purchase the full version of the program. This was difficult to work around, at first, but could be minimized or closed once the main program started. The main window on the left side of the application shows the image output and allows for zooming in and out. The right side contains the drafting controls, which are so numerous that they do not fit in the window. To navigate between options, the user must scroll up and down, which can be irritating during long usage periods. All of the necessary options are available, and users can create a number of shapes, as well as gradients and other effects. Fortunately, similar to other graphics editing programs, some of the options can be minimized if not being used often, which can reduce the window to a more manageable size. Toshiba Tecra A4 Sound Driver for Mac works well and will come in handy for more experienced users who need an application to create vector-based raster pattern backgrounds. Novice users might find the interface somewhat cumbersome and slightly difficult to use. Editors' note: This is a review of the trial version of Toshiba Tecra A4 Sound Driver for
Mac 5.2.1.With a rather basic but intuitive interface, Toshiba Tecra A4 Sound Driver for Mac offers more control and customization options for viewing images, videos, and slideshows. In addition to being a viewer, the program offers some useful image editing options, as well. At around 26MB the download takes a couple of minutes to complete. The program installs in just a few seconds, though, with a drag and drop in Mac's Applications folder. Upon startup the only window visible is the Inspector window, which displays relevant information regarding the file currently opened. Apart from being a
typical image and movie viewer, Toshiba Tecra A4 Sound Driver for Mac also lets the user optimize files and apply certain effects and adjustments. Using a JPEG file we were able to access the viewer's main navigation menu, displaying options such as rotate; set image display size to match the most common photo paper sizes for printing; and the Quick Peek panel where the user is able to sort files by name or date. A small yin/yang-looking icon provides access to the Adjustments and Effects panel, where the user is able to adjust image sharpness, saturation, hue, contrast, exposure, and similar, as well as to apply and adjust certain effects such as bloom and gloom, blur, pixelate, and crystallize, etc. A small icon opens options for exporting images optimized for the Web in either JPEG, PNG, or GIF format by adjusting dimensions and quality. When playing slideshows, the user is able to adjust the play interval of slides and specific transition mode, as well as add a soundtrack, which is a nice touch. During testing all the options worked as advertised. Toshiba Tecra A4 Sound Driver for Mac offers a more customizable image and video viewer. It's perfect for users who need to quickly edit photos or create interactive slideshow presentations with music.
